Theme: ENVIRONMENT

Think of these as “impact areas” to help focus your ideation process.

Resource Conservation

The Resource Conservation track is centered around innovative solutions aimed at preserving and sustainably managing our planet’s finite resources. This track invites participants to create groundbreaking technologies, applications, and platforms that address pressing resource challenges and promote efficient resource utilization.

Eco-Equality

The Eco-Equality track focuses on bridging the gap between environmental sustainability and social justice. Participants are encouraged to develop solutions that not only address ecological concerns but also inquire equitable access to environmental benefits and protections for all, irrespective of socioeconomic status, race, or location. This track emphasizes the interconnectedness of people, planet, and prosperity, promoting a more inclusive and just approach to environmental challenges.

Renewable Energy

The Renewable Energy track invites participants to dive deep into the realm of green energy solutions. As the world pivots away from fossil fuels, there’s an ever-growing demand for innovative, sustainable, and scalable renewable energy technologies. This track seeks to unearth the next generation of ideas that can propel us towards a clean and energy-abundant future.

Sustainability

The Sustainability track is all about forging a harmonious relationship between human progress and Earth’s ecosystems. Participants are encouraged to come up with solutions that balance the needs of the present without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. This track will be the nexus of innovation, ensuring that environmental, societal, and economic dimensions are interconnected.

Hardware Projects: Within each track, feel free to build a hardware project. All hardware projects will be judged alongside software projects! Submission format will still be the same (on Devpost).
